BOH looks over Hanover Hill plans
On March 20 the Board of Health (BOH) reviewed preliminary plans for the Hanover Hill subdivision planned by Wilkins Hill Realty for 35 lots off Route 225 near Curve and Westford Streets, and made a recommendation to the Planning Board that the soils are suitable for siting sewage disposal systems.
The plans had been reviewed prior to the meeting by the board's consulting engineer, Rob Frado, who wrote, "In general, the depth of soils and percolation test results show that these lots should support subsurface sewage disposal systems." Frado also noted that readings for high ground water and some additional tests might be required of the applicant before submitting plans and applications that will meet Carlisle Supplemental Regulations and state Title 5 requirements.
"We are not doing affordable housing," emphasized Rob West of Wilkins Hill Realty. "We will be selling groups of lots" to others "for them to develop affordable housing." (See "Details emerge for Westford Street affordable housing".)
