Be cautious in cell tower placement

To the Editor:

I am also one of the parents concerned about a possibility of a cell tower being installed near school.

Long-term effects of a low-dose RF radiation are still inconclusive, and, just recently, the UK government ordered a massive study of the long-term impact of mobile phones amid fears that they can cause brain cancer.

I am not against mobile phones, my kids have them, but one has to be careful how they are used, and where the cell towers are placed. For now we should be cautious, and the farther they are from schools and residences the better.

Hence, I would also, along with other concerned parents, encourage the Unitarian Church not to proceed with the installation of the cell tower on their property.
