SUMMER PROJECT. The roof on the DPW sand and salt shed, which was found to be structurally unsound, is being lifted off by a huge crane. Supple Construction, Inc. of Carlisle is removing the old structure and installing a new truss and metal roof system. The old roof was then loaded into the dumpster and crushed up by the backhoe.
