Girls alpine ski team finishes second in DCL

The CCHS girls alpine ski team was extraordinarily successful this season, finishing second in the Dual County League. With so many talented seniors graduating, one might assume that the future for the Patriots looks bleak. In truth, C-C has a great deal of talent in store for the next few years. Two Carlisle skiers, sophomore Nicola Carey and freshman Alison Koning, will be key varsity racers in the upcoming season. Tough and aggressive, these girls will be filling big boots. Their skills and experience will be necessary for next year's team, and Coach Furey looks forward to their transition from excellent recreational skiers to topnotch racers.
