Shorts from the Planning Board, January 9
· Upcoming elections. Chair David Freedman began the January 9 Planning Board meeting by congratulating Brian Larson on his appointment to Rich Boulé's unexpired term as member until the next town election. (Boulé had resigned when he moved from Carlisle to Chelmsford.) Freedman said, "There will be three positions open at the next election: Louise Hara's and my three-year terms and Brian's one-year term. I hope Brian will consider running for one of the three-year terms." Hara said that she probably would not run for re-election and Freedman said that he is considering running for the one-year term.
· Wireless subcommittee. Members Kent Gonzales and Brian Larson summarized the status of the Wireless Subcommittee. A draft of bylaw changes prepared by David Maxson, subcommittee consultant, is being reviewed by the subcommittee.
· ANR Plans (Approval Not Required). The plan for three lots on Koning Farm Road that had been signed at the November 14 meeting was briefly discussed. A request was received from the applicant, Robert Koning, to release Lots 3A and 4A. The request was approved pending amendment of the covenant to substitute new Lot 5A as an unreleased lot for the prior Lot 5.
· Greystone Crossing Public Hearing. The Greystone Crossing (Cross Street Conservation Cluster) public hearing is scheduled for the next board meeting on January 23.
