9:05 a.m. A speeding complaint was made by a River Road resident.

9:05 a.m. DPW was notified of snow blocking the view at Westford and Cross Streets.

12:32 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Oak Knoll Road.

5:56 to 6:52 p.m. Five stops were made in the selective enforcement operation.

10:54 p.m. Patrol secured a side door on Westford Street.

December 13

12:29 p.m. Patrol advised a person parked in the handicapped place on School Street and he moved his vehicle.

1:11 p.m. A suspicious male walking at Westford Street and Towle Field was stopped and checked okay.

4:11 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

December 14

4:11 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on South Street at the scene of a fire alarm.

7:37 a.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Bingham Road.

3:56 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

December 15

12:22 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a propane leak investigation on Shady Brook Lane.

3:47 p.m. Patrol was asked to keep the peace on East Riding Drive.

8:44 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Sunset Road at the scene of a fire alarm.

9:20 to 10:10 p.m. Five stops were made under the selective enforcement program.

December 16

6:11 a.m. Patrol assisted DPW at Concord and Westford Streets.

7:54 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

8:39 a.m. A vehicle was reported off the road at South Street and Wildwood Drive. It was gone when patrol arrived at the scene.

9:18 a.m. A vehicle accident occurred at Lowell Street and Proctor Road. There was no personal injury, and the vehicle was winched out.

12:07 p.m. DPW was advised of a flooded roadway at Davis Road and Maple Street.

1:31 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the flooding scene at Davis Road and Maple Street.

2:03 p.m. Patrol removed a limb across the roadway at Cross and South Streets

3:11 p.m. A cell phone was reported lost at Morse Road and the transfer station.

6:30 p.m. DPW was notified of icy roads creating a safety hazard throughout town.

6:36 p.m. A vehicle became stuck in the road at East Street and East Riding Drive.

December 17

5:43 a.m. Patrol investigated a residential alarm on Hutchins Road and found the situation secure.

8:20 a.m. Patrol responded to a report of a wounded deer in a yard on North Road. The animal was put down.

11:38 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department on Berry Corner Road at the scene of a residential fire alarm activation.

1:23 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of a bicyclist impeding traffic flow on Westford Street and found the situation checked okay.

5:08 p.m. A loud band was reported playing music on Stearns Street. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

11:23 p.m. The operator of a vehicle parked at Lowell Street and North Road was advised to move along.

December 18

12:14 a.m. Persons responsible for playing loud music on Stearns Street were advised.

1:14 a.m. The loud music from the same place on Stearns Street was back on and the responsible person was advised again.

9:32 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a box alarm on East Street.

2:21 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

5:50 p.m. A vehicle parked with two people in it at the corner of Bedford Road and East Street was not there when patrol arrived to investigate.

11:45 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on East Street.

December 19

6:55 a.m. A complaint about a barking dog on Pheasant Hill Lane was investigated and the owner of the dog advised.

11 a.m. Patrol assisted on Bedford Road where a vehicle hit a deer.

2:27 p.m. Patrol investigated a disabled vehicle on Bedford Road and determined it did not create a hazard.

11:42 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on Westford Street.

December 20

1:10 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

5:36 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

6:21 p.m. Patrol investigated a report of an animal hit by a car at South and West Streets and had a negative find.

6:35 p.m. An erratic operator was reported at Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. Patrol investigated and the situation checked okay.

December 21

3:02 p.m. The owner of a vehicle parked in a handicapped space was in violation and was so advised.

5:09 to 10:47 p.m. Three stops were made under the selective enforcement program.

5:15 p.m. A snowblower was reported stolen from an East Street residence.

December 22

1:09 a.m. DPW was notified of icy road conditions at Bedford and Skelton Roads.

9:02 a.m. A summons was served in hand on Red Pine Drive..

12:45 p.m. An Estabrook Road resident requested legal advice.

3:07 p.m. A handicapped parking violation was reported on School Street. The vehicle was gone on patrol's arrival.

3:16 .m. A warning was issued for a fire lane violation on School Street.

6:15 p.m. to 10:27 p.m. Five traffic stops were made under the "You Drink, You Drive, You Lose" grant program.

6:45 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

9:00 p.m. to 11:42 p.m. Nine vehicle stops under a traffic enforcement operation.

December 23

1:41 a.m. Loud bangs and sparks were reported on Munroe Hill Road. Patrol confiscated fireworks from 5 parties at the site when the noise investigation was made.

7:22 a.m. A suspicious box truck reported at Hemlock Hill Road and Oak Knoll Road checked okay.

11:578 a.m. Patrol investigated a report of a coyote in a driveway on Russell Street and had a negative find.

12:49 p.m. A River Road resident who was concerned about possible illegal hunting was advised.

3:04 p.m. A police officer was bitten by a dog on Concord Street.

9:29 p.m. The operator of a suspicious vehicle at Brook Street and Timothy Lane was advised.

9:29 p.m. Patrol investigated a house party at Brook Street and Timothy Lane and took one person into protective custody.

December 24

8:25 a.m. DPW was notified of black ice at Concord and Church Streets.

8:30 a.m. A resident who came to the station for legal advice was assisted.

4:45 p.m. Patrol assisted with church traffic on East Street.

11:55 p.m. Patrol was unsuccessful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Rockland Road.

December 25

7:21 a.m. A family requested a well-being check at a South Street residence and the check was okay.

10:45 a.m. A possible suicide was reported on Old North Road. See story on page 1.

4:26 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

December 26

11:31 a.m. A Rutland Street resident reported a possible sick raccoon. The animal was put down.

12:30 p.m. Patrol investigated a vehicle accident on South Street where a vehicle ran into a pole.

4:54 p.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

11:18 p.m. A disabled vehicle was reported at Concord Street and Bingham Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

December 27

10:49 a.m. A trailer plate was found on East Street and a message left for the owner of the plate.

12:21 p.m. A Fielding Farm Drive resident reported a dead deer in the yard. DPW was advised.

December 28

7:44 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a medical emergency.

11:02 a.m. Patrol was asked to keep the peace on South Street.

9:33 p.m. Patrol investigated a vehicle accident on Autumn Lane. There were no injuries.

December 29

8:38 a.m. Patrol assisted the Fire Department at the scene of a box alarm at the Robbins Building on School Street.

12:52 p.m. A resident came to the station to be fingerprinted.

9:28 p.m. Patrol secured an open door on Westford Street.

December 30

1:15 p.m. Nstar was advised of a town-wide power outage.

1:18 p.m. The Spalding Building alarm went off, presumably because of the power outage.

1:34 p.m. An audible alarm on Fifty Acre was investigated and checked okay. It, too, was attributed to the power outage.

2:19 p.m. DPW was notified of a branch in the roadway at School and Russell Streets.

December 31

9:56 p.m. to 11:13 p.m. Three stops were made under the "You drink, you drive, you lose" grant program.

January 1 2006

12:45 a.m. to 1:26 a.m. 5 stops were made under the "You drink, you drive, you lose" grant program.

8:14 p.m. A car was reported off the road at Concord Street and Bingham Road. Patrol investigated and had a negative find.

12:28 p.m. An Oak Knoll Road caller reported his alarm was going off.

4:12 p.m. A 92-year-old woman collapsed and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with ALS assistance at the scene.

December 14

4:14 a.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation on South Street.

3:54 p.m. A woman suffered a possible back injury at the state park and was taken to the hospital.

December 15

12:22 p.m. A Shady Brook Lane caller reported the smell of propane in the house.

8:48 p.m. An alarm company reported smoke detector activation at a Sunset Road residence.

December 16

7:45 a.m. A 76-year-old male who was bleeding was taken to the hospital.

8:14 p.m. A 75-year-old man was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

December 17

11:31 a.m. An alarm investigation was made at a Berry Corner Road residence.

December 18

9:32 a.m. An automatic box alarm was received on East Street.

2:21 p.m. A 73-year-old woman fell and sustained a possible shoulder injury. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

December 20

1:11 p.m. A 69-year-old man fell on the ice, became semi-conscious, and was bleeding from the head. He was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

5:37 p.m. A 91-year-old man having difficulty breathing was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

December 22

6:45 p.m. An 18-year-old female fell downstairs and sustained a possible broken ankle. She was transported to the hospital.

December 25

10:46 a.m. A caller reported an unresponsive male in a car on North Road. ALS responded at the scene and pronounced him dead.

4:29 p.m. An 81-year-old male who was feeling light-headed was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with ALS assistance at the scene.

December 26

1:15 a.m. A resident with a possible diabetic reaction was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

12:31 p.m. Callers reported a car ran into a pole on South Street. Transportation to the hospital was provided for an injured person.

4:53 p.m. A 69-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in possible diabetic shock. ALS responded at the scene.

December 28

7:45 a.m. An eight-month-old child having difficulty breathing was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with ALS support at the scene.

December 29

8:39 a.m. An automatic box alarm was received from the Robbins Building on School Street.
