CSA gives $13,000 to support school programs
The Carlisle School Association (CSA) has awarded over $13,000 to Carlisle School teachers and staff this fall. Funds raised through CSA membership dues and by events such as the recent gift wrap sale are used to directly support the school's teachers and staff. Items funded included science materials, curriculum kits, library materials, and occupational therapy equipment.
Some grant proposals, such as Professional Mathematics Materials for staff development and World Instruments (drums and shakers from all over the world), will be used by all grades. Items for specific grades include a nursery rhymes curriculum kit for Pre-K, first grade emergent reading books, second and third grade mathematics journals, sets of non-fiction books for fourth grade, computer projection devices for the fourth and fifth grades, and middle school science materials including classroom easels, electronic scales, and laboratory hot plates.
