Wireless Advisory Committee hires consultant David Maxson
The Wireless Advisory Committee has received approval from the Selectmen to hire David Maxson, managing partner of Broadcast Signal Lab of Medfield, to complete a study of possible sites for cell towers specifically in the town center. Under discussion will be the school property and others on high ground, which would provide the clearest areas for transmission and reception of cell signals. Maxson's study will cover the advantages and disadvatages of each site in terms of safety as well as efficiency and will make recommendations for siting these towers, as Maxson put it, "in the best interest of Carlisle." Citizens interested in this issue may attend the Wireless Advisory Committee's next meeting in the Heald Room at Town Hall on Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m.
