WASTEWATER CONSTRUCTION ON SCHEDULE. The construction of the new Carlisle School wastewater treatment facility and a septic field has begun. "It [the construction] appears to be right on schedule," said Carlisle School Business Manager Steven Moore. "Everyone is happy with the progress they have made." A temporary access road was cut through Spalding Field to allow work on the hillside behind the Cory Auditorium. A "force main," a large outflow pipe, is being laid under the field, explained Moore. He anticipates the field will be repaired by September. (Photo by Cynthia Sorn)
