NSTAR strike affecting neighboring communities

Many of the neighboring communities are being adversely affected by the strike by NSTAR workers. In Bedford, the work to widen Crosby Drive has had to change focus in order to deliver the project on time. In Acton, a precarious utility pole on School Street is threatening traffic.

Gasoline prices decline

Gas prices have dropped six cents in the last two weeks. The average price of a gallon of gas in the country was $2.12 Monday, down 3.8 cents from last week alone, but still 6.1 cents over the same period last year. New England fares worse at an average of $2.15, still up over 8 cents from last year.

Over the past several months, the Feasibility Study Committee was worked with its architect to determine a clear picture of current facilities at the high school and what the future needs to hold. The study's goal is to create a building with space and infrastructure to support a 21st century educational program, and serve the regional school district for the next 50 years.
