Carlisle Education Foundation funds elementary foreign languages
The Carlisle Education Foundation (CEF) is pleased to announce the award of a two-year grant, including teacher salaries, books, and curriculum materials, to the Carlisle Public Schools to fund a World Languages program for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school will determine the choice of languages largely based on results from a survey of parents. The two-year grant, funded partially from the proceeds from the spring's successful CEF/CSA Auction and through the generous donations of the Carlisle community, will allow the school flexibility and time to establish the program.
