• Home Depot proposal is postponed
The decision about whether to site a Home Depot on top of the old Acton landfill has been postponed to allow more time for discussion and research on the possible benefits and impact of the proposed project.
• TM grants tax relief for senior citizens
Acton Town Meeting passed a home-rule petition to establish a new tax class for eligible seniors. The state legislature must approve the petition before it goes into effect.

• Route 3 work keeps rolling
With the spring thaw, work to finish the paving and landscaping around the newly expanded Route 3, including on- and off-ramps, has resumed, with final completion expected this fall.
