THE PLAY'S THE THING. Director Thomas Caron (right) discusses the finer points of casting with Carlisle actor Charles Schweppe at the auditions on Friday, January 7, in the Corey auditorium. Caron will direct an historical play entitled "Under the Chestnut Tree: Chronicle of Carlisle, Massachusetts," intended to celebrate Carlisle's Bicentennial on February 18, 19 and 20 at the auditorium. Tickets will be available in mid-January at Ferns Country Store. If you are interested in acting in the play but could not make the auditions or would like to work on the production, call Caron at 1-978-318-7979. (Photo by Ellen Huber)
