CCHS Feasibility Study Committee to explore options for renovation
Thirteen people have been chosen to make up the CCHS Feasibility Study Committee. This group will explore the options and frame recommendations to renovate, add onto, or replace the aging buildings of Concord-Carlisle High School. The group includes Superintendent of the Regional School District Brenda Finn; a Selectman from each town: Tim Hult and Judy Terry; members of the Regional School Committee from each town: Michael Fitzgerald and Jerry Wedge; CCHS Principal Art Dulong; a teacher from CCHS, Chuck Brown; Concord Police Chief Leonard Wetherbee; CCHS student Molly Battle; and several individuals with construction backgrounds: Ken Hoffman and Suresh Bhatia. Nancy McJennett was involved with an earlier renovation. Karen Sabatino has been a volunteer at the school and has worked in Human Resources.
Twelve firms have submitted proposals. The members of the committee have a week to evaluate each proposal using a set of criteria. The committee met on December 22 to review their findings and decide which firms will be invited for interviews.
