Megan Eliassen weds Patrick Sankovitz

Megan Eliassen and Patrick Sankovitz were married in February in Colorado, and had their reception in New Hampshire in July. Megan is the daughter of Midge and Tim Eliassen of Virginia Farme. She grew up in Carlisle and went to the Carlisle School before graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College. Patrick is the son of Margaret and Jim Sankovitz of Shorewood, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of Marquette University.

Megan and Patrick performed their ceremony and vows in a blizzard, on a cross-country ski trail in Rabbit Ears Pass (elevation 9572'), near Steamboat Springs, Colorado on February 29. Their reception and celebration of their marriage took place July 22 at Breidablik, in Sunapee, New Hampshire, Megan's extended family's summer home for four generations, and was attended by many members of both of their large families, as well as their friends.

Both Megan and Patrick are family practice doctors in Denver, Colorado. They both teach in the St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program. Megan received her medical degree from UMass Medical School and Patrick received his from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Both did their residencies in family practice in the program in which they are now teaching. They live in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and spend their free time at a second home in Leadville, Colorado, a base for their hiking, skiing and biking adventures


Christopher Liu Wu weds Heather Exito Estilo

Christopher Liu Wu, son of Cheng and Shalin Wu of Kimball Road, and Heather Exito Estilo, daughter of Federico and Cerina Estilo of Waukegan, Illinois, were married at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago on August 28.

Christopher and Heather both graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigne. Chris received a master's degree in engineering. He is now a structure engineering analyst at Severud Company in New York City. Heather majored in biology at school. They traveled to Rome for their honeymoon and will live in New York City.

Leon Charkoudian to wed Nicole Longanecker

John and Susan Charkoudian of Pheasant Hill Lane are happy to announce the engagement of their son Leon to Nicole Renee Longanecker of San Antonio, Texas. Nicole graduated from Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio and received a B.S. degree in Human Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Leon is a 1997 graduate of CCHS and holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry, also from Cornell. Both Nicole and Leon are currently in their last year of medical school. Nicole will receive her M.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine this May. Leon will graduate from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, also in May. A June wedding is planned, following which both Nicole and Leon will begin their residency programs.
