Thibault to challenge Fargo for Senate seat
Chelmsford resident John Thibault, a former high-tech executive, has announced that he will run as the Republican candidate for state Senate from the Third Middlesex District. He will try to unseat incumbent Democrat Susan Fargo.
His campaign will kick-off on Monday, March 1, at the Bedford Renaissance Hotel, 44 Middlesex Turnpike in Bedford. The public is invited to attend the event, which is free of charge.
Thibault, a former high-tech executive, says that he has "pledged to support Governor Romney's efforts to enact meaningful reforms that will allow the state to spend tax dollars where they are needed most."
The Third Middlesex District encompasses the towns of Bedford, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Lincoln and Weston, as well as precincts 1 and 4 in Sudbury, and the City of Waltham.
