Varsity field hockey had a great season, coming close to making the state tournament and having one of the best Dual County League season records. The team had a total of 22 goals in their season, a huge success compared to last season's five goals. Eleven Carlisle girls were on the team this year: seniors Amanda Rao, Kristen Bergstrom, Kim Anderson, Joslyn ...more

It was the deepest that CC has been into the post-season since 1998 when they also fell in the quarter-finals of the state tournament. CC pulled out in front of Danvers in the first half but Danvers immediately responded with ...more

The team placed second in the league championship and EMass. Another one of the ...more

Carlisle runners led the way for CC this season, as sophomores Matt and Ben Phillipo, Carpenito, and senior Emeric Bojarski all competed at the varsity level. Concord-Carlisle went into the season a little nervous to be without ...more

Where and when: Fresh otter signs (scat and scent mounds) found in several shoreline locations throughout the Carlisle Cranberry Bog Reservation on November 8, 2003. I have been monitoring otter populations along River Meadow (Great Brook) since the early nineties; and this sign was the most abundant to date; perhaps indicating resident otternot just ...more
