Comcast report postponed
In a letter to the Carlisle Board of Selectmen dated September 15, Comcast Manager of Government and Community Relations, Rob Travers said that Comcast will not attend the selectmen's September 23 meeting, as originally planned. Instead, "we expect to have a final determination on what areas, if any, Comcast plans to construct before the end of the month. Further, to the extent Comcast elects to construct any of these areas, we will provide a written report to the Board no later than October 1, 2003, and monthly thereafter, on progress we are making until construction is complete....We are very much aware of residents' concerns as we have seen a steady stream of emails from residents of the affected areas, and we believe we can better meet their concerns by submitting written progress reports to the Board."
The Selectmen will discuss the Comcast report at their first meeting in October.
