Deadline for public input on Great Meadows management plan is September 3
The United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service is hosting four open houses this summer for the public to provide comments on the draft Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Part of this wildlife refuge lies in Carlisle.
To facilitate public input, open houses are scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2003 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. in the Ayer High School Auditorium, Ayer; and Wednesday, August 6, from 1 - 3:30 p.m. and from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at 73 Weir Hill Road, Sudbury, at the Eastern Massachusetts National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters. The public comment period will close on September 3, 2003.
