Larry Barton has emerged as the Board of Selectmen's choice for the combined position of Town Treasurer and Tax Collector. At their meeting on July 29 the selectmen authorized Town Administrator Madonna McKenzie to negotiate a salary with Barton. Appointment is expected to follow once salary negotiations are completed. ...more
