June 16

8:49 a.m. The speed monitor was set up at Acton Street and Heald Road.

1:17 p.m. A traffic counter was set up on South Street.

1:34 p.m. Solicitors who had not registered with the police were transported from Curve Street.

5:27 p.m. A resident reported a suspicious van selling lemonade at East Street and Nickles Lane. Patrol had a negative find.

6:18 p.m. A Berry Corner Lane resident who had requested not to be solicited reported solicitors.

9:28 p.m. A noise complaint was received from an East Street resident.

June 17

4 a.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a box alarm at Church Street and the Corey Building.

6:22 a.m. Sheep in the roadway at Westford Street and Towle Field were returned safely to the field.

10:15 a.m. The operator of a vehicle involved in an accident at Bedford Road and Stearns Street was arrested for driving after his license had been suspended.

11:03 a.m. A vehicle was stopped for approaching the above accident too fast. It was determined that the operator of the car was driving with a revoked license, and he was arrested.

11:36 a.m. A Shady Brook Lane resident reported a turtle on the steps. Patrol removed the turtle.

12:05 p.m. Patrol assisted a trailer backing up at East Street and Maple Street.

3:09 p.m. Patrol was unable to locate loose dogs reported in the roadway at West and Acton Streets.

7 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a gas odor investigation at Bedford Road and the town line.

June 18

11:17 a.m. A resident who was concerned about tree work on Curve Street was referred to the tree warden.

2:55 p.m. Suspicious males, one of whom was reported to be carrying a gun, were located on Westford Street and checked okay.

8:08 p.m. A resident was taken by ambulance to the Lahey Clinic.

June 19

8:58 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a medical emergency.

10:09 a.m. Parking tickets were issued to the operator who was parked in the handicapped space at the schools and had received two previous warnings.

6:03 p.m. A Stoney Gate resident requested information about having a vehicle towed off his property.

6:08 p.m. Patrol assisted at the strawberry festival.

June 20

1:05 a.m. A complaint was received about a house party on School Street. The responsible parties were advised.

4:38 p.m. A suspect in a breaking and entering was interviewed at the police station and subsequently arrested.

7:02 a.m. As a result of a vehicle stop at Bedford Road and the rotary, an operator will be summonsed for a traffic violation.

5 p.m. A dead fawn was removed from the roadway at South Street and Heald Road and DPW was advised.

9:23 p.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey.

11:02 p.m. Patrol secured an open door at the Town Hall.

June 21

10:08 a.m. A Stearns Street resident reported a problem between her dog and a neighbor and was advised.

12:46 p.m. Patrol helped a resident obtain a needed walker from the Council on Aging.

11:08 p.m. A loud party was reported on Curve Street and the responsible person was advised.

June 22

5:13 p.m. A Westford Street resident reported snakes in the basement. Patrol had a negative find.

5:33 p.m. A large snapping turtle was reported in the roadway at Concord Street and Clark Farm Road. Patrol had a negative find.

10:52 p.m. Patrol assisted a lost motorist with directions.

8:30 a.m. The speed monitor was set up at Concord and Church Streets.

June 17

4 a.m. An automatic box alarm was received from the Corey Building at the school.

1:03 p.m. An alarm investigation was conducted at a Westford Street residence.

7:01 p.m. Police assisted the fire department at the scene of a natural gas odor investigation at the boat launch at the Bedford town line.

June 18

8:09 p.m. A 75-year-old woman feeling ill with a fever was taken to the hospital.

June 19

8:58 a.m. A woman having a severe asthma attack was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.
