Ed and Ruth Bing of Old East Street are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Caroline to Gregory Wishart. Greg is the son of Bill and Joanna Wishart of Southborough, Massachusetts.
Caroline is a 1995 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and a 1999 graduate of Colgate University. Caroline received her MBA/M.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University in 2000 and earned her CPA license in 2002. She is currently employed by the Boston office of Ernst & Young.
Greg graduated from St. Mark's School in Southborough and is a 1999 graduate of Colgate University. He is currently employed as an English teacher at St. Sebastian's School in Needham and is pursuing an M.A. at The Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College.
Caroline and Greg became good friends and shared the company of their close friends during their years at Colgate. They enjoy golfing, camping, hiking, biking, and fishing together. Their relationship has developed while sharing this love for the outdoors, and most importantly their love of friends and family.
An August 16 wedding is planned.
• Bonnie Miskolczy of Cross Street has two sculptures in Musketaquid's Annual Earth Month Exhibit, which opened April 17 at the Blanchard Trust Gallery, 40 Stow Street in Concord. A reception with the artists, poetry, music and refreshments will be on April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. The show runs through May 18.
• Caryl Dundorf of Tophet Road, dean of professional and instructional development at Middlesex Community College, was featured in the spring publication of Profiles. Dundorf coordinates and facilitates educational opportunities for the college's faculty and staff.
• Katrina Weiss, a freshman at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, and a member of the varsity archery team, has just completed the indoor season where she placed first in the New Jersey State Indoor, second at the Big Apple State Indoor (NY), and second in the Virginia State Indoor. She came in second at the National Indoors - Eastern Division. In her first year as a Senior competitor, she is sixth in the Senior Division nationally, and her Collegiate team is first in its division. She is currently preparing for the outdoor season.
• Carlisle going the extra miles. Seven current and former Carlisle residents will be taking part in this year's Boston Marathon on Monday, April 21st. They are Chris Alberto #17211 (Concord), John Forelli #6941, Tim Harte #1069 (Philadelphia), Ronald Kmiec #10005 (aiming for his 30th consecutive finish this year), Kim Ratcliffe #20722, Tom Ratcliffe #2074, and Karen Ringheiser #14644.
