Community Planning Day is tomorrow

The Carlisle Planning Board and the Concord-Carlisle League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring a community planning day tomorrow, Saturday, March 22, from 9:30 a.m. until noon in the cafeteria of the Carlisle Public School. This is an opportunity for all Carlisle citizens to make their views known about issues in town, and their hopes for the future.

Results of this meeting will be used in drafting a community development plan. The town has received a grant for this planning from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under Executive Order 418 (EO418). The purpose of EO418 is to encourage towns to develop community plans that bring together housing, economic development, natural resources, open space and transportation.
