Girls volleyball

The varsity girls volleyball team had an outstanding season and went to the State Tournament for the first time this year with the help of three Carlisle athletes. Jen Woodward, a senior and four-time varsity player, was again a Dual County League All-Star and was starter outside hitter on the team this year. Courtney Bryan, also a senior, was an outside hitter. Bryan was remembered in the team's second game against Bedford (previously CC lost their first game against Bedford) when she had to sub in for a teammate. Bryan did an excellent job holding up CC's win against Bedford in the next two rounds. Beatrice Kim, another senior, played many positions on the team, and was known as a positive, energetic team player, who kept up the team's spirit. All three of the players contributed to make their team Division 2 Champions.
