ConsCom invites public for coffee, informal conversation on April 9
On Tuesday, April 9, at 7:30 a.m. the Carlisle Conservation Commission will sponsor a "Conservation Morning Coffee" in the Clark Room at the Town Hall. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for informal gathering of individuals interested in conservation and land-related issues as they pertain to Carlisle. It will be patterned after Concord's monthly conservation coffees, ongoing for at least 15 years. These have been successful at bringing together a diverse mix of people interested in their community, providing for increased communication between townspeople, land use organizations and town committees.
Coffee and muffins will be available to help make this informal gathering a sociable exchange. There will be an opportunity for an around-the-room discussion allowing anyone to ask questions, make suggestions, share information about upcoming events, good birding spots, great books and articles and discuss future possiblilities. The coffee will last about one hour, will have no set agenda and anyone may arrive and leave as their time allows.
