Shorts from the selectmen
· Town Caucus. The town caucus is scheduled for Monday, March 25, at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall.
· Appointments. Nick d'Arbeloff was appointed to the conservation restriction advisory committee (CRAC). He was recommended to the board of selectmen by the CRAC and will serve a two-year term. Norman Lind and Valerie Traynor were appointed by the selectmen to serve three-year terms on the recreation commission.
· Funds for video equipment. As specified in the cable license renewal contract, AT&T has given the town a check for $25,000, to be used to purchase and install video production equipment for use in Town Hall. Ellen Miller of the Carlisle Cable Communications Advisory Committee commented later that the video equipment was for the purpose of filming the selectmen's meeting. She said that one goal was to be able to control the filming remotely so that someone in the cable TV studio in Concord could run the equipment.
