February 4

8:36 a.m. The operator of a car that passed a stopped school bus on River Road was contacted and advised.

9:59 p.m. A 14-year-old girl involved in a domestic dispute was arrested and taken to a juvenille facility overnight before being taken to court the following morning.

February 5

7:35 a.m. A tree was found resting on the wires at Acton Street and Heald Road.

9:45 a.m. A disabled vehicle on River Road was removed.

3:15 p.m. A speeding cement truck on Westford Street was stopped and advised.

February 6

10:31 a.m. Vehicles parked in the Greenough lot on Maple Street checked okay.

10:39 a.m. The cable company was advised of a low-hanging wire on School Street.

1:31 p.m. Patrol assisted a Fiske Street resident with a cat that had been attacked by a fox.

3:56 p.m. The 911 emergency phone in the library elevator was used accidentally.

5:42 p.m. A 48-year-old Nashua resident was stopped and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with an open container of alcohol, operating with a suspended license, attaching plates to a vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, and operating with impeded capacity. He was held and taken to court the following morning.

February 7

12:03 p.m. A Prospect Street resident was advised of possible illegal burning.

1:47 p.m. The operator of a vehicle parked in the fire lane on School Street was advised.

2:09 p.m. A suspicious motorist stopped at Lowell and Curve Streets was determined to be watching deer.

9:59 p.m. A garage-door opener was taken from an Acton Street residence.

February 8

1:27 a.m. Patrol conducted a street light survey.

8:39 a.m. A Curve Street resident reported being bothered by the neighbor's cat; the cat was retreived by its owner.

11:59 a.m. An open door on Autumn Lane was secured.

February 9

11:15 a.m. A well-being check on two Fern Lane residents was requested. Patrol found two sudden deaths and notified the district attorney's office. (See story on page 1.)

February 10

1:23 a.m. Mailboxes were damaged at West and Acton Streets.

4 a.m. A death notice was delivered to a Fiske Street resident.

8:49 a.m. A mailbox on West Street was vandalized.

11:22 a.m. The cable company was advised that a wire on School Street was down.

6:49 p.m. A female resident bleeding from her head was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
