WEDDING

Brad Behn weds So Hyun Rhee

Bradford Lawrence Behn, son of Gertrud and Prescott Behn of East Riding Drive, married So Hyun Rhee, daughter of Kyunghee and Reverend Jaiduck Rhee of Waynesville, Missouri, on November 24. The bride's father performed the ceremony at the Korean Baptist Church in Waynesville.

Brad, a 1985 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School, earned his B.A. in music in 1989 and his Master of Music (clarinet performance) in 1990, both from Northwestern University. So earned her B.A. in music in 1995 from Washington University, St. Louis, and her Master of Music (clarinet performance) from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, in 1999.

The couple resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Brad is second chair and plays C, A and E-flat clarinets in the Tulsa Philharmonic Orchestra, and So works repairing woodwind instruments.


Carlisle's seniors and Council on Aging celebrate the holidays


Alison Saylor (right) of the Carlisle Garden Club helps Lee Barger put the finishing touches on her wreath as son Gavin looks on. The Garden Club sponsored the workshop for the COA and donated 36 wreaths to Carlisle senior citizens.
