December 3

8:07 a.m. A Bedford Road resident reported possible illegal hunting. The situation checked okay.

9:28 a.m. The speed monitor was set up on River Road.

9:58 a.m. A resident reported suspicious persons on Tophet Road. Patrol determined that the two were teenagers having an argument.

11:11 a.m. A cell phone found at Concord and Church Streets was picked up by the owner.

December 4

Midnight. Patrol conducted the regular streetlight survey.

8:53 a.m. A Concord Street resident reported an outside bench had been stolen.

9:20 a.m. The speed monitor was placed at Westford and Curve Streets.

10 p.m. A Stearns Street resident reported possible credit card fraud in mid-November.

1:34 p.m. An Estabrook Road resident came to the station and borrowed the Have-a-heart trap.

2:48 p.m. As a result of a routine stop at Concord and South Streets, two individuals with small amounts of marijuana in their possession will be summonsed.

5:50 p.m. An Old North Road resident reported a gas odor.

December 5

7:45 a.m. A suspicious package reported by a Rutland Street resident checked okay.

9:28 a.m. The speed monitor was placed at Concord and Church Streets.

2:59 p.m. The police department's 911 cell phone was loaned out to a resident who needed it.

10:13 p.m. A Blaisdell Drive resident was advised of a complaint about loud music.

December 6

6:23 a.m. A cat who had been struck by a car was taken from Lowell Street and Orchard Acres Drive to the animal hospital by the field driver.

4:57 p.m. A Virginia Farme Lane resident reported someone had been taking pictures of a house at about 10 a.m. that day.

5:05 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Morse Road.

December 7

1:21 a.m. DPW was advised of illegal trash dumping at Old North Road and the canoe launch.

7:12 a.m. A Virginia Farme Lane resident reported possible gunshots. Patrol had a negative find.

9:19 a.m. Donations from the Salvation Army valued at about $40 were stolen from the Christmas kettle at Daisy's.

11:51 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout on Lowell Street.

8:30 p.m. Patrol investigated a 911 hang-up call and found it had originated during a domestic argument.

December 8

8:50 a.m. A Bedford Road resident reported gunshots in the area. The situation checked okay.

11:46 a.m. An unoccupied car with the engine running was reported at North Road and the canoe launch. It was gone on patrol's arrival at the scene.

December 9

Midnight. DPW began sanding.

7:46 a.m. DPW was advised that the sander may have hit a mailbox on Concord Street.

9:04 a.m. A tree across the roadway at Lowell Street and North Road was removed by DPW.

3:27 p.m. Patrol delivered a message from the Westminster police for a Carlisle resident who had left a restaurant without paying

12:21 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at a Rodgers Road residence. The situation checked okay.

3:44 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation on School Street. The situation checked okay.

5:51 p.m. An Old North Road caller reported a strong smell of gas.

7:35 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at a School Street residence. The call checked okay.

December 7

3:54 p.m. A 65-year-old male with a dislocated shoulder was taken to the hospital.
