August 13

1:40 a.m. Patrol removed a tree that was down in the roadway on Westford Street.

1:51 a.m. A deer that had been struck was removed from the roadway at Concord Street and Bingham Road.

12:30 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lockout at School Street and the Robbins/Link building.

3:32 p.m. A checkbook that had been found on Westford Street was picked up by the owner.

6:05 p.m. A vehicle accident occurred on North Road. No transport was required.

6:19 p.m. The state police were assisted in finding an address on Nowell Farme Road in order to serve a summons.

11:28 p.m. Patrol gave two kids rollerblading at Bedford Road and the rotary a ride to the town line.

August 14

5:09 a.m. A Stoney Gate resident reported an unknown vehicle parked in the driveway. It checked okay and was determined to belong to a family friend.

9:02 a.m. A Munroe Hill resident reported lawn turfings. A report was taken.

3:07 p.m. An orange stepladder found at Concord and Westford Streets was brought to the station and tagged.

10:38 p.m. An erratic operator was reported at Bedford Road and the rotary. Patrol had a negative find.

11:35 p.m. A vehicle operator who was lost was escorted to Billerica.

August 15

2:29 p.m. A slow vehicle was stopped and determined to have registration revoked because of insurance cancellation.

5:39 p.m. An individual alleged to be dumping trash at West and South Streets was advised.

August 16

6:46 a.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a medical emergency on Munroe Hill Road and helped with transportation to Emerson Hospital.

7:33 a.m. DPW was advised of brush blocking the stop sign at Heald Road and Berry Corner Lane.

9:57 a.m. A child's car seat was installed at the police station.

10:19 a.m. DPW was advised of a log in the roadway at North Road and Rutland Street.

August 17

5:36 p.m. Two males who had been soliciting and were stranded were given a ride to their vehicle.

August 19

12:59 a.m. A vehicle parked at North Road and the canoe launch was advised to move on.

10:38 p.m. A stop sign at Lowell Street and Proctor Road was reported on fire. Patrol extinguished the fire and the fire department was advised.

August 20

10:27 a.m. An East Riding Drive resident reported a dead crow and was advised.

3:41 p.m. A summons was served on Lowell Street.

August 21

6:25 a.m. DPW was notified of a deceased deer off to the side of the road on Bedford Road.

6:22 p.m. A bicyclist claimed he was hit by water balloons thrown from a car on Westford Street at the Westford line.

August 22

2:27 a.m. Patrol assisted Peabody police in delivering a notification to a Lowell Street resident.

1:31 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a medical emergency on School Street.

5:27 p.m. A suspicious man and woman on North Road were advised.

10:02 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported a bat in the house. Patrol had a negative find.

August 23

2:29 p.m. A Russell Street resident reported a damaged mailbox.

3:40 p.m. A Bellows Hill Road resident reported a neighbor's dog had been hit by a vehicle. The dog took off.

7:27 p.m. Individuals riding dirt bikes on Forest Park Drive were advised.

7:43 p.m. A South Street resident reported there might be people on their property. Patrol had a negative find.

9:21 p.m. A Russell Street resident reported a possible attempt to break in; it was determined that there was a problem with the door lock.

August 24

1:17 p.m. An overheated vehicle at Concord and Church Streets was towed.

2:20 p.m. An East Street resident reported an animal growling under the deck. Patrol had a negative find.

10:36 p.m. Individuals parked in the lower parking lot at Church Street and Carlisle Castle were advised.

August 25

9:35 a.m. Patrol assisted by keeping the peace on Berry Corner Lane.

10:30 a.m. A disabled grenade was turned in at the police station.

3:21 P.M. Patrol assisted at the scene of an extinguished car fire at Westford Street and the Westford line. A passenger who had inhaled smoke was taken to the hospital.

August 26

2:08 a.m. The operator of a vehicle off to the side of the road at North Road and the boat launch was advised.

12:35 p.m. A found dog collar was returned to the owner.

August 13

6:15 p.m. A motor vehicle accident with injuries occurred on North Road. EMTs evaluated a facial injury and determined no transport was required.

August 14

4:50 a.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at a Hutchins Road residence.

2:31 p.m. An Autumn Lane resident reported propane gas leaking from a tank.

August 16

6:46 a.m. An 88-year-old woman with shortness of breath and chest pain was taken to Emerson Hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

August 19

10:27 p.m. A stop sign was set on fire at Proctor Road and Lowell Street.

August 21

12:15 a.m. Two callers reported the strong smell of smoke in the Old North Road/North Road area.

5:25 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at an East Street residence.

August 22

8:48 a.m. The Concord Fire Department requested mutual aid for a box alarm at the Middlesex School in Concord.

1:22 p.m. A 30-year-old man, feeling faint, lost consciousness. ALS assisted at the scene and the man was taken to the hospital. The incident was thought to be possibly heat-related.

August 24

1:18 p.m. Callers reported a car fire at Concord Street near Church Street. It was determined that the vehicle was overheated and not on fire.

11:01 p.m. An alarm company reported an alarm investigation on Lowell Street.

August 25

3:28 p.m. A car was reported on fire at Westford Street and the Westford line. Patrol arrived to find there had been an electrical fire which was out, but an elderly female passenger had inhaled smoke and was taken to the hospital.
