June 25

2:51 p.m. A 33-year-old female was thrown from her horse on Sunset Road. She was unconscious and taken by ambulance to Emerson Hospital and from there to the University of Massachusetts Trauma Center in Worcester by helicopter.

7:49 a.m. Past mailbox vandalism on Brook Street was logged.

8:47 a.m. A vehicle parked in the handicapped parking space at 83 School Street was removed by the owner after patrol responded to a complaint about it.

5:55 p.m. DPW was advised of high grass at Bedford and River Roads.

7:37 p.m. Patrol responded to a psychiatric concern about a family member who was subsequently taken to the hospital.

10:22 p.m. A complaint of kids in a Bedford Road parking lot resulted in the kids leaving the lot.

June 26

8:33 a.m. An Elizabeth Ridge Road resident reported smoke in the basement.

3:06 p.m. Patrol responded to a family dispute on School Street about a civil matter, which was resolved by the parties. Police were involved again at 6:45 p.m. and again at 10:55 a.m. on June 27.

June 27

7:44 a.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at an East Street residence.

1:30 p.m. A wallet was reported lost on Berry Corner Road.

2:49 p.m. A found ATM card was picked up by the owner at the station.

4:03 p.m. A damaged windshield reported at River Road and the Concord line was determined to have happened in Concord and was referred to the Concord Police Department.

5:59 p.m. A deer was discovered at the side of the roadway at Curve and Fiske Streets in the process of giving birth. The state humane officer was contacted and the Animal Rescue League. The two fawns were stillborn and the mother was taken to an adjacent cornfield.

9:34 p.m. A horse without a rider was reported on Lowell Street. After a search, a Chelmsford woman with a leg injury was located in the state park and taken to Emerson Hospital. (See story on page 1).

June 28

6:34 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at a Fiske Street residence.

1:50 a.m. A well-being check was made on a Rutland Street resident and everything determined to be okay.

8:26 a.m. Medical and library cards were found on Bedford Road and the owner notified.

12:45 p.m. A minor vehicle accident occurred on Bedford Road.

1:12 p.m. NStar was notified of a power outage on Log Hill Road

4:35 p.m. A minor two-car accident occurred on Lowell Street.

10:39 p.m. A license was found at Foss Farm and turned in at the station. It was subsequently picked up by the owner.

June 29

10:46 a.m. The Greenough Land lot on Maple Street was included in regular directed activity patrol.

3:05 p.m. A disabled vehicle at Bedford Road and the Bedford line was removed.

June 30

NStar was notified of scattered power outages in the town.

7:55 p.m. A Munroe Hill Road homeowner was assisted in resetting a house alarm.

July 1

1:26 a.m. NStar was advised of a power outage on School Street.

5:39 a.m. DPT was advised of a branch hanging near the street on North Road.

5:39 a.m. NStar was advised of a power outage at Cross Street and Fielding Farm Drive.

7:33 a.m. A possible lightning strike caused a power outage on Old East Street. NStar was advised.

8:08 a.m. A large branch blocked the roadway on Maple Street.

10:26 a.m. DPW was advised of a safety hazard caused by a branch dangling at North Road and the Duck Pond.

11:40 a.m. Keyspan was advised of a possible natural gas leak on Heald Road.

12:45 p.m. A South Street resident reported a person coming on posted no-trespassing property. The individual was located and found to be a florist making a delivery.

4:43 p.m. Keyspan was notified of a natural gas odor on Heald Road.

5:00 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene on Suffolk Lane where there was a bat in the house.

6:11 p.m. A branch in the roadway on Westford Street was removed.

6:30 p.m. NStar was advised of a large branch down, severing a power line on Patten Lane.

July 2

9:46 a.m. A well-being check was made on a Partridge Lane resident. It was determined that the situation was okay, but that there was a phone problem.

11:40 a.m. and 3:23 p.m. NStar was advised of a power outages on Woodridge Road.

5:27 p.m. A motorist was stopped on Bedford Road and subsequently arrested on an outstanding 1992 warrant.

July 3

9:00 p.m. A credit card was found on Bedford Road.

July 4

12:10 a.m. A car was stopped at East Street and Old East Street and the operator cited for operating without a license. A summons will be served.

10:21 a.m. Patrol was unsuccessful at the scene of a lockout at Bedford Road and East Street; AAA was called.

3:19 p.m. Keys were found at an information table at School Street and Church Street.

8 p.m. A deer was hit by a car at Lowell Street and subsequently put down and removed by the DPW.

11:45 p.m. Mailbox vandalism on Concord Street was logged.

July 5

8:34 a.m. A vandalized mailbox on Rutland Street was logged.

7:34 p.m. A summons was served on Brook Street.

July 6

2:21 a.m. Mailboxes at West Street and Old Quarry Lane were vandalized.

8:01 a.m. A Spencer Brook Lane resident reported a baby robin fell out of the nest. DPW assisted at the scene.

11:56 a.m. Mailbox vandalism on East Street was logged.

8:16 p.m. A horse in the roadway on Maple Street was secured.

July 7

11:14 a.m. Patrol assisted at River Road and the Concord line where a bike ride was entering town.

11:21 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The cable company was advised of a low cable wire on Bedford Road.

1:06 p.m. A bicycle was found on Robbins Drive.

1:20 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department on BrookStreet where there was a smell of wood burning.

10:29 p.m. A complaint was received about an Oak Knoll resident using fireworks. The resident said he didn't know it was illegal. The fireworks were confiscated.

July 8

12:51 p.m. A complaint was received of erratic operation on Bedford Road. The vehicle was located and patrol found the operator was overtired.

5:59 p.m. A Cross Street resident reported a sick woodchuck and was assisted.

11:41 a.m. A Heald Road caller reported the odor of natural gas outside.

9:31 a.m. A 76-year-old woman having an allergic reaction to a bee sting was taken to the hospital, with ALS assistance at the scene.

July 6

2:11 a.m. Concord Fire Department requested an engine for West Concord station coverage.

July 7

1:22 p.m. A Brook Street caller reported the odor of burning pine.

9:26 p.m. Concord Fire Depart-ment requested an engine for a box alarm at Middlesex School.

10:51 p.m. Concord Fire Depart-ment requested an engine for a box alarm at Middlesex school.

July 9

6:33 a.m. A Judy Farme Road caller reported phone and power lines on fire.
