Carlisle school staff members honored for 25+ years of service

Nine members of the staff of the Carlisle School were honored at a special dinner held May 24th at the Westford Regency. The dinner, sponsored by the Carlisle Education Foundation, was held to celebrate those staff members who have worked at the Carlisle Schools for 25 years or more. These nine individuals represent a combined 260 years of dedicated service toward excellence in the Carlisle School. In this day and age of increasingly transient careers, it is very impressive to find this level of permanence.

Each honoree was greeted with warm comments and remembrances from another staff member in attendance. The resultant stories were very entertaining, and at times shed an entirely new light on our dedicated honorees. At the end of the evening, each honoree was presented with a certificate for a chair, imprinted with the School's seal, to commemorate their extensive commitment to our children and our community.

School superintendent Davida Fox-Melanson, principal Andy Goyer, and assistant principal Terry Farwell hosted this special recognition dinner. Those honored included:

Margaret Bruell 26 years

Barbara Culkins 30 years

Daniel Flannery 27 years

David Flannery 29 years

David Mayall 32 years

David Negrin 25 years

Marie Padenski 33 years

William Tate 32 years

Alan Ticotsky 26 years
