May 14

12:16 a.m. A loud noise, possibly a scream, was reported on North Road. Patrol investigated, with a negative find.

2:06 p.m. A two-car accident occurred at Acton Street and Heald Road. There were no personal injuries.

2:55 p.m. DPW was advised of a road hazard on Westford Street.

3:37 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department at the scene of a brush fire on Tophet Road.

May 15

10 a.m. A suspicious vehicle at North Road and the canoe launch was advised.

10 a.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a lockout on Carleton Road.

11:29 a.m. A River Road resident reported jewelry missing some time within the past year.

11:50 a.m. Patrol assisted the DPW on Westford Street, providing coverage while ducks were pulled out of a storm drain.

4:50 p.m. A kitten was found on South Street and taken to Sudbury's Buddy Dog Animal Shelter.

5:21 p.m. A dog was found limping on School Street at Bellows Hill Road, and was followed through the woods to its home.

10:21 p.m. DPW was advised of a tree in the roadway at Concord Street and Clark Farm Road.

May 16

11:30 a.m. DPW was advised of a traffic sign replacement needed at West and South Streets.

7:51 p.m. Subsequent to a report of public drinking during a ballgame at Spalding Field, a park-and-walk directed activity was ordered.

11:04 p.m. Patrol assisted the fire department on Blaisdell Drive, where there was smoke in the basement.

May 17

9:27 a.m. A Munroe Hill resident saw a man walk down her driveway and open her car door. Patrol apprehended the man, who will be summonsed for breaking and entering.

3:37 p.m. DPW was notified of a low-hanging branch on River Road.

3:43 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene on Bedford Road where trucks were entering a construction site.

3:45 p.m. Police assisted a man who had lost his keys at the rotary.

May 18

11:53 a.m. Two tour buses blocking Acton Street were advised.

4:01 p.m. A Bedford Road resident inquired about a civil matter.

9:46 p.m. The Cross and South Streets area was patrolled for possible vandalism.

9:57 p.m. A pickup truck parked on a common drive on River Road was advised.

May 19

12:29 a.m. The Cross and South Streets area was patrolled for vandalism.

12:29 a.m. The West and Acton Street area was patrolled for vandalism.

1:37 a.m. The Cross and South Street area was patrolled for vandalism.

2:11 a.m. A deceased weasel was found at Concord and South Streets.

10:24 p.m. The Cross and South Street area was patrolled for vandalism.

10:25 p.m. Curve and Fiske Streets were patrolled for vandalism.

10:47 p.m. Mailbox vandalism was reported on Cross Street.

11:34 p.m. Mailboxes on West Street were reported vandalized.

12:57 a.m. Curve and Fiske Streets were patrolled for vandalism.

5:25 p.m. A two-car accident was reported on Bedford Road. There were no injuries.

6:01 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a house lockout on Stearns Street.

10 p.m. Cross and South Streets were patrolled for vandalism.

10 p.m. A dog was killed on Berry Corner Lane, possibly by a coyote.

10:10 p.m. Lowell and Curve Streets were patrolled for vandalism.

6:55 p.m. A 70-year-old male having difficulty breathing was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with ALS assistance at the scene.

11:58 a.m. A 78-year-old woman reported gastro-intestinal bleeding and was taken to Emerson Hospital.

11:47 a.m. A Ledgeways resident reported an alarm sounding.

5:59 p.m. A 17-month-old boy who was choking was taken to the hospital.

11:15 p.m. A Blaisdell Drive caller reported smoke in the basement.
