Friends and Neighbors

· Lauren Delaney of Lowell Street, co-captain of the Bentley College softball team, slams a home run against North Kentucky University in Fort Myers, Florida last week. Delaney, a 1997 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and former captain of the softball team, is a computer information systems major. She was the top Falcon R.B.I. producer last spring, driving in 14 runs and batting .287. Bentley's home season opener is on March 28 against Stonehill College.

· Catherine O'Kelly of Munroe Hill Road, a sixth grader, will play lead guitar in a classical ensemble to be held at Rivers Music School in Weston on Saturday, March 31, at 1 p.m. The ensemble will perform "Ferdinand the Bull" as part of the school's Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young.

· Carlisle resident Brigitte Senkler of Curve Street, a veteran real estate agent, has continued her winning performance in 2000 at Coldwell Banker Hunneman. Surpassing more than 1,700 sales associates, Senkler achieved the "Top Producing" and "Top Listings Sold" awards. Laura Baliestiero of Stearns Street, a realtor at Concord-Senkler Coldwell Banker Hunneman office, was named as one of the firm's top 29 sales associates in 2000.

· Rebecca Rothenberg of Carlton Road has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Colby College.

· The Bates College Dean's List includes Peter J. Lyneis of Rutland Street, Sarah M. Bilodeau of Rutland Street, and Keith J. Lane of Russell Street. All were named to the dean's list as a result of their scholastic standing during the first semester of the 2000-01 academic year.

· Edward K. Doreau of Acton Street has been named to the Dean's List for the 2000 fall semester at Messiah College. Doreau, a freshman biology/pre-med major, is a 2000 graduate of Lexington Christian Academy.

· Cheryl Oyer of Stony Gate Way and Adam Waitkunas of Westford Street have been inducted into Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Oyer is currently a senior at Westfield State College in Westfield, Massachusetts. She is majoring in business management and commercial recreation and tourism. Waitkunas is a senior at Westfield State College, majoring in political science with a minor in communications. He is the president of the political science club and the vice president of Circle K.
