Boys cross-country places 12th in state
The CCHS boys cross-country team went undefeated throughout their season. The team went on to win the Dual County League (DCL) championships and placed second in Division 2 at the MIAA Eastern Mass. meet (Emass).
Former Carlisle resident and sophomore Sean Carroll-Cronin was the Patriots top runner throughout the season and despite a stress fracture, he ran very well in the Emass meet. Sophomores Andrew Mancini and Quentin Hart ran a strong season on the varsity team and will be competing in the All-State meet. Junior Eric Pedersen was out most of the season due to illness, However he jumped right into training. for the last meets and ran well. Freshman Ben Phillippo showed a strong entrance into the team and was among the top Junior Varsity by the end of the season. Freshman Emeric Bojarski was out due to an injury most of the season, but showed good effort in the DCL championship.
The team qualified for All-State for the first time in 13 years and will compete in All-State on November 18 at the Tufts Veterinary School in Grafton.
