October 16

8:39 a.m. A resident called dispatch about a car that passed a stopped school bus. The operator of the vehicle was contacted and advised.

October 17

6:45 a.m. A noise disturbance was reported on Cross Street. Patrol determined that the noise was caused by a contractor working at the site.

October 18

10:12 p.m. Adult residents who were trick-or-treating on Rutland Street were reported by the resident whose bell they rang.

10:39 p.m. A resident reported being followed by another vehicle. Patrol determined that both cars were going to the library and both turned in at the library.

October 19

8:20 p.m. Parents of a child who was bitten by a stray cat were advised.

6:36 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on East Street.

6:56 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene on Bedford Road where there was an injured cat.

10:41 p.m. A street sign was reported missing at North Road and Rutland Street. The department of public works (DPW) was advised.

October 20

7:11 a.m. A mailbox and its post were vandalized on Curve Street.

9:24 a.m. A Blackstone resident was stopped at Concord and Church Streets and subsequently found to be operating with a suspended license and revoked registration. There was also a warrant out for him from Upton. He was arrested and transported to the Concord District Court.

11:45 a.m. DPW was advised of a rock jutting into the roadway on South Street.

6:27 p.m. A vehicle was stopped at Concord and Russell Streets for erratic operation, and the operator was advised.

7:11 p.m. Patrol assisted at the scene of a verbal altercation on Lowell Street.

October 21

1:36 a.m. A Billerica resident was stopped at Bedford Road and the rotary for a stop-sign violation. She was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence (OUI) and brought to the station where she was booked, held overnight and released on bail the following day.

12:33 p.m. A bicyclist was injured in a fall at North Road and the Duck Pond.

12:50 p.m. Patrol assisted on Bedford Road where a deceased bird was reported.

1:45 p.m. Four loose horses were reported running down Prospect Street. Patrol assisted in retrieving them.

October 22

10:15 a.m. A Carlisle resident was stopped at Maple and Brook Streets in Carlisle and found to have a suspended license. He will be summonsed.

10:45 a.m. A woman reported that she had been bitten by a dog at Foss Field. The dog was one of a team and both parties were advised.

1:22 p.m. Patrol assisted at Curve Street and Hutchins Road where two cars were pulled over to the side with their hazard lights on.

9:46 p.m. Patrol assisted a Lowell Street resident with advice concerning an earlier incident.
