Meet the new teachers at Concord-Carlisle High School

In a very tight job market, Concord-Carlisle High School administrators began a process last spring which culminated in the hiring of 25 new teachers for the 2000-01 school year. A document submitted to the Regional School Committee gives some explanation for the large number of vacancies: three teachers had taken child-bearing or child-rearing leave, three had taken a leave of absence, two were on sabbatical, seven resigned and five retired.
