Shorts from ConsCom

The conservation commission gave quick approval to three straightforward Notices of Intent to build and okayed one Request for Determination with no requirement to file a notice, as follows:

· Applicant/owner David Erickson of Swanson Lane in the Tall Pines subdivision received approval to install a 20,000-gallon fire cistern with appurtenances as requested by fire chief Robert Koning. The fire chief was present to support a location partially within the buffer zone.

· Robert Pauplis received a go-ahead for installation of underground utilities at 1400 Curve Street.

· Applicant/owner Peter De Gelleke, represented by engineer Jody Borghetti, received approval for grading and repaving of a driveway at 252 Westford Street.

· A Request for Determination was presented by Borghetti representing Mathew and Jennifer Corbett, who wished to remove a paved driveway, construct a stone wall and replant the former driveway area. ConsCom approved the plan and determined the owners did not need to file a Notice of Intent.
