April 17

7:30 a.m. Police assisted with the parade at School and Church Streets.

12:25 p.m. Patrol was successful at the scene of a vehicle lock-out on Westford Street.

3 p.m. The animal control officer was notified of an injured turkey on School Street.

April 18

7 a.m. to 9:51 a.m. Twenty-nine cars were stopped at West and Acton Streets for speeding.

3:20 p.m. A possible illegal solicitor reported on Hemlock Hill Road was located and advised.

9:14 p.m. A Lowell Street resident reported a possible bear in the woods. Police did not find the bear, but a mother and cub were sighted at the same address earlier in the year.

April 19

8:32 a.m. to 2:24 p.m. Ten cars were stopped for speeding at various places in town.

April 20

8:16 a.m. to 3:18 p.m. Sixteen vehicles were stopped for speeding at several locations in town.

April 21

8:31 a.m. to 1:51 p.m. Nine vehicles were stopped for speeding at several places in town.

5:28 p.m. An Indian Hill resident reported mailbox vandalism.

April 22

12:48 p.m. An East Street resident reported the roadway was being washed out; the department of public works was advised.

3:18 p.m. Mailbox vandalism was reported on East Street.

April 23

8:28 p.m. Patrol removed branches from the roadway at North Road and Billerica Lane.

9:36 a.m. An 84-year-old woman with low blood pressure was taken to Emerson Hospital with advanced life support (ALS) assistance on the air and at the scene.

April 19

7:40 p.m. A Stearns Street resident reported the oven coils were extremely hot.

April 21

6:58 p.m. A resident with a possible stroke was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with ALS support on the air and at the scene.

11:38 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported a foot of water in the basement.

April 22

5:18 p.m. An Acton Street caller reported a natural gas odor on the street.

April 23

9:03 a.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at a Fiske Street residence.

11:42 a.m. A caller from East Riding Drive reported a natural gas odor on the street.
