Perrin Edgar Milliken
Peter and Ashley Milliken of Norwich, Vermont announce the birth of their daughter, Perrin Edgar Milliken, born on March 31.
Perrin's grandparents are Arthur and Lee Milliken of Estabrook Road and Bea and Tony Edgar of Center Harbor, New Hampshire. Great grandmother is Mrs. James Lawrence of Westwood, Massachusetts.
Celia Mary Livosi
Tara and Paul Livosi of Maynard are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter "CiCi," born April 4. Grandparents are Jack and Ceil Innella of Hemlock Hill Road and Vanderbilt Beach, Florida.
· Bob Koning, Carlisle Fire Chief, was honored recently for his 27 years of service as Emerson Hospital EMS Coordinating Committee chairman. Koning has led monthly meeting for fire fighter, EMT and paramedic services for Emerson's 14-town coverage. Koning, who is stepping down as chairman, was given a commemorative plaque and a framed set of 14 fire department patches from each of the towns.
· Kristen O'Brien's fourth-grade class collected and contributed over 1200 reading books to send to students K-3 at the Tobin School in Roxbury. This is the second year that this Carlisle School's fourth grade class has contributed books for the "Spread the Word" program.
· Calling all marathoners! Not only is Monday Patriots Day but starting at 12 noon is the running of the Boston Marathon, 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to the finish line in downtown Boston. All Carlisle participants are urged to call Marilyn Harte at 369-2044 on Monday evening or early Tuesday morning with your results.
· CCHS choral groups competing in the statewide Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Associations contest came away with both gold and silver awards.
The men's choral ensemble and the mixed chorus won gold medals. The women's chorus won a silver prize. There were 80 choral groups taking part in this prestigious competition.
·The following students were named to the honor roll at The Fenn School in Concord: Jack Carroll, Peter Carroll, Adam Clark, Hugh Doyle, Tudor Foote, Alexander Green, Colin Green, Siddharth Joshi, Zach Parker, Jess Petrie, and Daniel Tattersall.

Rick, Pat and Keith Brown, formerly of Ember Lane, on the death of Pat's mother, Muriel Sexton, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In the seven years she lived here, Mrs. Sexton was an active volunteer at Emerson Hospital.
