March 13

9:30 a.m. A bomb threat was reported at the Carlisle Public School. (See story on page 1.)

5:49 p.m. Possible hunting was reported at Curve Street and Mill Pond Lane. It was determined that state personnel, using darts, were engaged in the state's deer tagging program.

7:22 p.m. A vehicle stolen from Lawrence was recovered at Curve Street and Hutchins Road.

March 14

2:29 a.m. A Westford man was stopped and arrested for operating under the influence. He was subsequently released on bail.

9:56 a.m. The department of public works (DPW) was notified of illegal dumping at Curve and Fiske Streets. It was determined that the material was from the stolen car recovered the previous day.

10:35 a.m. Carlisle Police assisted the Concord Police in locating two truant juveniles.

2:45 p.m. A truck and trailer blocking the roadway at Concord and Russell Streets was moved.

6 p.m. Police conducted a home search on Baldwin Road as part of a continuing investigation.

9:12 p.m. A car hit a deer at Westford and Cross Streets. The deer ran off.

March 15

10:01 a.m. A "suspicious" vehicle reported on Laurelwood Drive was determined to belong to the Boston Edison meter reader.

8:55 p.m. The dog officer was notified of a barking dog on Old North Road.

March 16

6:00 a.m. Carlisle Police helped keep the peace at the school where they checked the premises as part of an ongoing investigation of a bomb threat. (See story on page 1.)

8:56 p.m. Patrol noted a suspicious vehicle at West Street and Pope Road in Acton and notified the Acton Police.

March 17

6:00 a.m. Carlisle Police checked the premises at the school in connection with a bomb threat received earlier in the week.

11: 14 a.m. Police were successful at the scene of a vehicular lock-out on School Street.

5:25 p.m. DPW was notified of hazardous road conditions.

March 18

14 a.m. There was a one-car accident on Maple Street. There was no personal injury and the vehicle was towed.

1:27 a.m. DPW was notified of icy roads.

8:17 a.m. Police responded at the scene of a house lock-out on Old North Road.

8:28 p.m. Police were called to a residence because of a psychological concern about a juvenile. The situation was resolved by the intervention of a third party.

March 19

8:15 a.m. A car hit a deer at Westford Street and Rockland Road. The deer ran off.

3 p.m. A traffic complaint was received about a dog in the rotary. The owner of the dog was notified.

4:25 p.m. Lifeline reported an alarm activation on Concord Street and subsequently cancelled it because it was accidental.

4:43 p.m. A 58-year-old male experiencing chest pains was taken to the hospital by ambulance, with advanced life support (ALS) assistance on the air and at the scene.

March 14

12:45 a.m. An 86-year-old woman with a possible stroke was taken to the hospital with ALS support at the scene.

March 16

2:27 p.m. An alarm company reported alarm activation at an Elizabeth Ridge Road residence.

2000 The Carlisle Mosquito
