January 3

8:29 a.m. A car hit a deer on Bedford Road. The animal was injured.

11:08 a.m. An Ember Lane caller was advised about the procedure for annoying phone calls.

1:38 p.m. A moving van in the roadway on South Street was advised.

3:35 p.m. A minor vehicle accident at Bedford Road and Stoney Gate was reported after the operator got home; the accident was not investigated.

January 4

8:33 a.m. Police contacted AAA for the operator of a disabled car at Westford and Curve Streets.

12:25 p.m. Police assisted an East Street homeowner who smelled smoke. The fire department was notified and Boston Edison contacted.

3:46 p.m. A possible past larceny was reported by an Ember Lane resident. Police are investigating.

6:55 p.m. A civil dispute on Fiske Street was reported and resolved.

January 5

4:16 p.m. Police were successful at the scene of a vehicular lock-out at Lowell Street and the rotary.

5:44 p.m. An officer continued the investigation of a breaking and entering on Cross Street; a suspect was interviewed in Tewksbury.

6:47 p.m. A runaway juvenile was located and picked up by the father.

7:45 p.m. A missing juvenile was located and picked up by the mother.

January 6

9:58 a.m. An accident without personal injuries occurred at Bedford Road and the rotary.

4:07 p.m. A possible fight was reported at the department of public works. The situation checked okay.

January 7

9:23 a.m. A 25-year-old female from Pepperell responsible for a previous River Road theft involving the use of credit cards turned herself in at the police station, was arrested on an outstanding Carlisle warrant, and is currently out on bail.

January 8

12:29 p.m. A complaint was received about persons with political signs at the rotary. They were located and advised.

6:56 p.m. An accident at Westford Street and the Westford line was investigated.

January 9

12:50 p.m. Police were successful at the scene of a vehicular lockout on North Road.

10:55 p.m. Emergency medical technicians assisted an elder resident who had fallen. No transport was necessary.

January 3

8:06 a.m. An alarm company reported an alarm on Red Pine Drive.

January 4

12:45 p.m. The fire department conducted an odor investigation on East Street, where the smell of smoke was reported in the basement.

January 8

7:05 p.m. There was a motor vehicle accident at West Street and Log Hill Road. There were no injuries.

January 9

1:56 p.m. Concord Fire department requested an engine to assist at a box alarm at the Middlesex School.
