Terrific season for Boys Soccer

The CCHS boys varsity soccer team had a terrific season. Their regular record of 9—5—4 brought them to the Division II North State tournament for the fifteenth consecutive year. The Carlisle members of the team are senior forward Erik Munroe, junior forward Sean Moulton, and two seniors formerly from Carlisle, Chuck Jakobsche and Zander Lowe. The team plowed over Revere in the preliminary round of the tournament with the help of Concordians Taylor Bemis and Captain Andy Wood who knocked in the three goals, allowing CCHS to stay alive in the tournament with a 3—0 win. In the first round, the team put a great fight against a good Danvers team. David Sheer of Concord scored a goal to tie the game. However, Danvers scored a controversial goal at the end of the game to capture the win. The team ended this year with a winning record of 10—6—4 and hopes to improve next year. Senior Erik Munroe will be missed. Congratulations for a great season!
