Sophia Rose Duffy
Peter and Lisa Duffy of North Road are thrilled to announce the arrival of their daughter Sophia Rose. She was born November 5 at Deaconess Waltham Hospital.
The proud grandparents are Paula Snyder and Audie Sariego of Blaisdell Drive, Dick Snyder and Marilyn Sura of Rutland, Vermont, and Pat and Ted Foot of Orleans, Massachusetts.
Changhua Liu and Lin Xu of Wolf Rock Road are very happy to announce the arrival of a baby girl, Rholee. She was born October 26, at Emerson Hospital in Concord. Rholee joins her older brother Changming.
Proud grandparents are Xiuying Yin of Beijing, China and Tan Zhang of Jilin City, China.
Karen Donnelly weds Brandon Stewart
Karen Donnelly and Brandon Stewart were married at the Codman Estate in Lincoln on August 7, 1999. Karen, the daughter of Joe and Jean Donnelly of Tophet Road, graduated from the Carlisle Public School, Concord-Carlisle Regional High School, Cornell University and the University of Massachusetts School of Public Health, and is presently working as a program manager for the Women, Infants and Children program in Springfield, Massachusetts. Brandon, the son of Doug and Bonnie Stewart of Mitchell, South Dakota, is a graduate of Mitchell High School, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and the University of Massachusetts School of Public Health and is presently working as a research analyst for the Donahue Institute in Hadley. Karen and Brandon live in Northampton.
· Lander Craig Burr of West Street, a senior at Groton School in Groton, Massachusetts, has won a year 2000 Morehead Award to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, valued at $93, 724. Burr is a member of student government, co-captain of the varsity football team and co-captain of the varsity lacrosse team.
"Lander's outstanding record in scolarship and leadership ensures that he will continue a long tradition of excellence among Morehead scholars," said Charles E. Lovelace, executive director of the Morehead Foundation.
