David Huber weds Tina Anderson

Christina Anderson, daughter of Anita and Lance Anderson of Apple Valley, California, and David Huber, son of Ellen and Ernie Huber of Partridge Lane, were married at the Unitarian Church in Bloomington, Indiana, on July 31. Tina's graduate school advisor, Thom Gillespie, and Chad Asarch, a college roommate of David's, officiated.

Tina graduated from UCLA and received her master's degree in interactive telecommunications from Indiana University in May. David went through the Carlisle schools and CCHS and graduated from Williams in 1991. He received his Ph.D. in cognitive science from Indiana in May. Dave and Tina met in Spain in 1994.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan peninsula, the couple is now living in Boulder, Colorado, where David is working in a post-doctoral position at the University of Colorado. Tina will soon be starting at AT&T in Denver setting up web-based instructional programs.


Sarah Libby Last of the Healey family in Carlisle

Sarah Libby, 86, of Rutland Street died October 4, at Emerson Hospital after complications following a serious stroke. She lived in Carlisle for more then forty years. Her brother Lawrence Healey, with whom she lived, died on August 24, 1999.

Libby, who grew up in Lexington, is survived by two sisters, Rita B. Burbank of Reading, Marie H. Harkinsen of Manchester, New Hampshire and a brother Dennis J. Healey of Jacksonville Florida.

A funeral service was held at St. Irene Church on Thursday, October 7. Burial was at the Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
