September 13

6:45 a.m. Patrol monitored a detour at Acton and West Streets. No detail officer was required.

10:13 a.m. Mutual aid was requested by Concord Police who needed station coverage while they were involved with a fire.

10:53 a.m. A suspicious vehicle reported on Hartwell Road was determined to be a resident giving the au pair a driving lesson.

11:48 a.m. An existing restraining order was updated for the protection of a Heald Road resident.

12:51 p.m. No action was taken on a report of obscene material in the hands of a juvenile. Police investigated and turned the matter over to the parents for follow up.

5:57 p.m. Police assisted and advised on a domestic problem reported by a Lowell Street resident.

September 14

6:30 a.m. The animal control officer was notified of a deer hit by a car at Brook and Maple Streets.

12:01 p.m. A truck was reported to be blocking a school bus at Bellows Hill and Estabrook Roads.

1:26 p.m. The utility company was notified of a limb on the wires on Baldwin Road.

5:55 p.m. The state park gate was found open and the responsible person advised.

6:18 p.m. A baby deer was found alone on Rutland Street. The animal control officer was advised.

6:35 p.m. The animal control officer was notified of a dog bite on North Road.

September 15

6:54 a.m. The burglar alarm at the Assurance Technology Company on South Street was set off accidentally by the custodian.

September 16

9:36 a.m. Police assisted at the scene at Kimball Road and Swanson Lane with medical transport to Emerson Hospital and subsequently delivered a message related to that emergency.

12:33 p.m. A tree partially blocking the roadway on West Street was removed.

12:39 Boston Edison was notified of a branch on the power lines on West Street.

1:06 p.m. Boston Edison was notified of a tree across the wires on Bellows Hill Road.

1:13 p.m. Boston Edison was advised of a power outage on Old East Street.

September 17

8:05 a.m. A sick stray cat was transported from Forest Park Drive to Carlisle Animal Hospital.

9:48 a.m. Patrol provided cover for cable TV repairmen at East Street and Blaisdell Drive.

12:18 p.m. Cablevision was notified of low-hanging wires on West Street.

12:34 The department of public works (DPW) was advised of a tree blocking the roadway at South Street and Wildwood Drive.

12:39 DPW was advised of a tree blocking the roadway on Heald Road.

12:47 p.m. Estabrook Road was closed and Boston Edison notified because of a tree on the wires and loss of power.

1:45 p.m. Boston Edison was notified of arcing wires at East Street and East Riding Drive.

2:16 p.m. DPW was notified of a tree in the roadway on North Road.

2:21 p.m. Boston Edison was notified of a power outage on School Street.

4:46 p.m. A dog trapped in a hole on River Road was freed and returned to its owner.

September 18

7:34 a.m. Boston Edison was notified of a power outage on Maple Street.

2:36 p.m. A Billerica man was arrested on East Street for driving with a suspended license and held on that and other outstanding warrants from other towns. He was released on bail at 4:20 p.m.

8:47 p.m. Fireworks or blasting noises were reported near the Acton line on Acton Street. It was determined that the town of Acton was having fireworks.

10:04 p.m. Boston Edison was notified of wires arcing on Peter Hans Road.

September 20

7:36 a.m. A Lowell Street resident complained of noise from contractors starting too early.

11:42 a.m. A horseback rider at Curve and Fiske Streets, who was concerned about vehicles passing, was advised.

5:36 p.m. Two 12-year-old girls who were reported overdue were later reported to have returned.

9:11 p.m. An 87-year-old woman with a possible stroke was transported from West Street to Emerson Hospital.

11:46 p.m. A Lowell Street resident complained about noise coming from the state park. It was learned that an MTV video by the rock group God Smack was being made between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.

10:14 a.m. Concord Fire Department requested mutual aid station coverage.

September 16

9:36 a.m. A patient with a possible heart condition was taken from Kimball Road and Swanson Lane to Emerson Hospital, with on line and at scene assistance from Advanced Life Support.

10:24 p.m. An East Riding Drive caller reported a gas odor in the garage.

11:57 p.m. A Westford Street woman who fell and injured her hip was taken from Westford Street to the hospital.

September 17

1:45 p.m. A caller reported that a branch on the wires at East Street and East Riding Drive was arcing.

September 18

10:05 p.m. Wires on Peter Hans Road were reported arcing.
