April 5

2:19 p.m. An abandoned vehicle with no plates was located on Bedford Road. Police were unable to contact the owner and the vehicle was towed.

5:20 p.m. A motorist reported a vehicle driving erratically on Bedford Road. The operator of the vehicle was contacted.

6:10 p.m. At the request of the Concord police, Carlisle police delivered a message to a Hemlock Hill Road resident.

April 6

7:30 a.m. An Acton Street resident reported a bear knocked over his bee hives and bird feeders.

12:45 p.m. A Heald Road resident reported a bear damaged his fence and bird feeder.

6:20 p.m. Police stood by a disabled farm tractor on Bedford Road until it was removed.

April 7

7:05 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on Indian Hill Road. It was found to belong to a worker clearing land in the area.

9:08 a.m. An unregistered solicitor was reported on Hemlock Hill Road. The company was notified to register.

1:15 p.m. A damaged windshield on a vehicle at the Carlisle Public School was reported.

4:39 p.m. A Heald Road resident reported a bear knocked over his bird feeder.

8:47 p.m. A vehicle reported following a person down Maple Street was stopped. The operator stated he had chased two individuals out of his property. The individuals were located and advised.

April 8

7:47 a.m. An Acton Street resident (same as April 6 entry) reported a bear had damaged his bird feeders.

10:16 a.m. An East Street resident reported mailbox vandalism.

2:02 p.m. Police assisted the fire department with transportation from Heald Road to Emerson Hospital.

6:05 p.m. Boston Edison was notified of arcing wires on East Riding Drive.

April 9

6:42 a.m. An Acton Street resident (same as April 6 and 8 entries) reported a bear damaged his bee hives again.

3:16 p.m. Police assisted the fire department with transportation from Russell Street, where a girl had fallen off her bike, to Emerson Hospital.

6:09 p.m. A pocketbook was reported missing from the library or post office.

7:03 p.m. A bear was reported in the back yard at the same Acton Street address as the other bear reports. It left prior to patrol's arrival.

April 10

12:01 a.m. Two girls reported walking down Bedford Road were located and transported home.

6:20 p.m. A vehicle was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and the operator, a 47-year-old Westford man, was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence.

April 6

626 p.m. A small brush fire at Foss Farm and Bedford Road was extinguished by a passerby.

April 8

2:04 p .m. A Heald Road resident fell and was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

2:47 p.m. Police reported a small outside fire on Stearns Street.

6:15 p.m. The fire department responded to a report of a wire fire on East Riding Drive.

April 9

3:16 p.m. A girl fell off a bicycle on Russell Street near Concord Street and sustained a possible broken leg. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
