January 25

2:52 p.m. The animal control officer was notified of a dead deer by the side of Westford Street.

5:18 p.m. Police assisted the fire department at the scene of a chimney fire on Forest Park Drive.

January 26

3:42 p.m. Police investigated a one-car accident on Westford Street. The operator, a resident of Westford, lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions and struck a tree. There were no injuries.

5:30 p.m. A School Street resident came home and found the door open. The house was checked and it appeared that the door was left open accidentally.

5:30 p.m. Dispatch received a report of a cat struck by a car on Bedford Road. The area was checked with a negative find.

5:40 p.m. A motorist reported hitting a deer on East Street. The area was checked but the deer was not found.

January 27

7:24 a.m. A child reported missing from a Brook Street residence was located at 7:26 a.m.

11:24 a.m. The department of public works was notified to pick up two bags of trash found on School Street.

January 28

8:20 a.m. Carlisle police assisted Chelmsford police at the scene of a vehicular accident just over the town line on Concord Street in Chelmsford.

9:27 a.m. Officer Richard Tornquist investigated a one-car accident on Westford Street. A Westford resident lost control of her vehicle and rolled it over. There were no injuries. The operator was cited for speeding.

10:35 a.m. Police investigated a one-car accident on Acton Street. An Acton resident lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions and struck a tree. There were no injuries.

11:54 a.m. A resident of Maine lost control of her vehicle on Bedford Road due to icy road conditions and traveled off the roadway. There were no injuries.

4:36 p.m. Police investigated a one-car accident at the intersection of Westford and Curve Streets. A Milton resident lost control of her vehicle, struck an embankment and was taken to Emerson Hospital with injuries.

January 29

7:30 a.m. A purse was found at Daisy's Market and the owner notified.

12 noon. Patrol stood by on River Road until a tow truck removed a disabled motor vehicle.

4:40 p.m. A motorist reported being passed by another vehicle on Westford Street; the operator was contacted and advised.

January 30

1 a.m. A School Street resident reported a 15-year-old had sneaked out of the house and left with a friend. Police assisted in locating them and they returned home safely.

8:20 a.m. A tow truck was called for a disabled motor vehicle at BankBoston on Westford Road.

1:26 p.m. Police assisted the fire department at the scene with transport from East Street to Emerson Hospital.

2:27 p.m. Police were successful at the scene of a lockout at BankBoston on Westford Street.

8:05 p.m. A fire reported at an Acton Street residence was determined to be a cooking fire.

5:19 p.m. A caller reported flames coming from the top of a chimney on Forest Park Drive.

January 28

9:27 a.m. Callers reported a car on its side over an embankment on Westford Street.

4:39 p.m. A caller reported an accident at Westford and Curve Streets. A Milton resident struck an embankment and was taken to Emerson Hospital.

January 30

1:27 p.m. An East Street resident was taken to Emerson Hospital with a severe nose bleed.
