July 22

• Eighteen property checks and one residential alarm activation were recorded.

• Two motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

6:26 a.m. Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in which a car hit a stone wall on Baldwin Road. The driver was not injured but the car was towed. 

1:16 p.m. Fingerprinting services were provided at the station.

2:44 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on Hart Farm Road.

7:02 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on South Street. 

July 23

• Eighteen property checks were recorded.

• One motor vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.

5:45 a.m. An officer removed a tree branch that was creating a traffic hazard near the intersection of West and Acton Streets.

7:30 a.m. An officer assisted a homeowner on Wildwood Drive.

3:33 p.m. A Concord Street resident reported that a family member was receiving harassing text messages. 

5:36 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on South Street. 

July 24

• Twenty-five property checks were recorded.

• Eight motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

12:41 p.m. Officers were unable to locate a possibly sick raccoon reported to be in the area of Lowell Street. 

2:54 p.m. Eversource was notified that an electrical box was by the side of the road near the intersection of Concord Street and Indian Hill Road. 

5:38 p.m. An officer assisted a Blaisdell Drive resident who had a snake in her garage. 

July 25

• Twenty-one property checks and two residential alarm activations were recorded.

• Two motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

8:33 a.m. A Brook Street resident, who had an injured mallard in her yard, was advised to contact the Environmental Police and Mass Wildlife. 

11:45 a.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on Bedford Road. 

1:37 p.m. A motorist hit a deer on East Street. The vehicle had minor damage; police were unable to locate the deer. 

8:27 p.m. A Cranberry Hill Lane resident reported that there was a dead deer on his fence.

8:53 p.m. A key that was found at a dentist's office was turned into the station. 

July 26

• Thirty property checks were recorded.

• Thirteen motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

10:25 a.m. A tree truck was blocking traffic on Heald Road. An employee was advised that they need a police detail. 

11:59 a.m. An officer assisted a Cross Street resident who was locked out of his house. 

4:17 p.m. A tree limb fell onto of a vehicle on Maple Street. The DPW was notified. 

8 p.m. Police investigated a fire alarm activation on Trillium Way. 

July 27

• Thirty property checks and one residential alarm activation were recorded.

• One motor vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. 

5:14 a.m. An officer delivered a message to a Nowell Farme Road resident. 

9:51 a.m. An officer was unable to locate two dirt bike riders reported to be driving at a high speed on Acton Street. 

2:37 p.m. Police investigated a report that the lock and chain had been cut at Foss Farm. The safety chain had been cut on the lock and gate chain. The gardens checked okay. 

July 28

• Twenty-five property checks were recorded.

• One motor vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. 

9:44 a.m. An audible alarm on School Street was reported. An officer checked the area and found nothing. 

3:46 p.m. A dog barking for 25 minutes on Brook Street was reported. A message was left for the owner. 

4:44 p.m. Police received a report that someone at the Lions Gate development off West Street was blowing sand around the neighborhood, making visibility on West Street difficult. The party was advised. 

July 29

• Nineteen property checks were recorded.

• Three motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

6:42 a.m. Police assisted the DPW with a tree that was creating a traffic hazard on West Street. Verizon was notified.

3:40 p.m. A Westford Street resident reported suspicious activity at her house over the past few weeks. 

4:17 p.m. A Girl Scout troop came into the station to get fingerprinted. 

July 30

• Eighteen property checks and one residential alarm activation were recorded.

12:44 a.m. A suspicious motor vehicle parked on Tanglewood Way checked okay.

1:32 a.m. An officer advised a motorist parked at Town Hall on Westford Street. 

3:45 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on South Street. 

July 31

• Twenty-three property checks and one residential alarm activation were recorded.

• Five motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

11:16 a.m. Police received a complaint about a pothole near the intersection of Acton Street and Heald Road. The DPW was advised. 

August 1

• Twenty-two property checks and one residential alarm activation were recorded.

• Four motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations. 

10:17 a.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with an alarm activation at the Carlisle Public School on School Street. 

1:15 p.m. A Nowell Farme Road resident reported a social security phone scam.

4:13 p.m. Police were unable to locate an erratic driver reported to be on Westford Street. 

8:42 p.m. A gas alarm activated at a Hartwell Road residence.

8:48 p.m. An officer assisted a Elizabeth Ridge Road resident who thought she heard someone in her basement. Nothing was found. 

10:50 p.m. Occupants who were smoking in a vehicle parked at the Cranberry Bog on Curve Street were told to leave the area. 

11:22 p.m. Fireworks in the area of Curve Street were reported. 

August 2

• Twenty-one property checks and one accidental 911 call were recorded.

8:18 a.m. Police received a complaint about speeding traffic on South Street. 

9:03 a.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on School Street. 

9:06 a.m. An erratic motor vehicle on River Road was reported. The driver was stopped on Monument Street in Concord. He appeared to be okay but would not speak to the officer.

11:47 a.m. A syringe was found near the entrance to Estabrook Woods on Kibby Place. An officer removed the item and brought it to the Police Station for disposal. 

12:12 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a medical emergency on North Road. 

3:37 p.m. Police received a report that a male was possibly vomiting on the side of the road near the intersection of Westford Street and Munroe Hill Road. He was gone when officers arrived. 

August 3

• Thirty-three property checks and two residential alarm activations were recorded.

• Twelve motor vehicles were stopped for traffic violations.

9:58 a.m. Police were unable to locate a dog reported to be running on Maple Street. 

10:19 a.m. Police received a report that a low-flying plane was circling the area on Concord Street and getting lower. An officer investigated and learned that it was an old WWII plane from Hanscom Air Force Base. 

August 4

• Twenty-four property checks were recorded. 

2 a.m. The driver of a suspicious motor vehicle parked near the intersection of Church and School Streets moved along. 

3:28 p.m. Police assisted the Fire Department with a box alarm activation at the Carlisle Public School on School Street. 

3:51 p.m. A Hillside Drive resident reported hearing a back-up alarm, possibly from machinery, probably from Lowell Street. An officer checked the area with a negative find. 

6:29 p.m. A Partridge Lane resident reported hearing construction noise. An officer advised the workers to shut down. 

8:36 p.m. Five loud bangs, like gunshots or fireworks, near Curve Street were reported. An officer checked the area and had a negative find. 

9:33 p.m. A suspicious motor vehicle on Bedford Road was reported. ∆
